Free tool
Personalised Book Maker.
Turn any classic book into your own edition, rewritten for your life.
What it does
- Takes any free, out-of-copyright book
- Rewrites it in plain English, aimed at you and how you would actually use it
- Puts your name on a clean, branded cover
- Gets it onto your Kindle
Under the hood it is a Claude Code skill. You drop it into Claude Code and run it. No coding needed.

How to use it
You will need Claude Code (Anthropic's AI tool) set up on your computer. That is the only thing you need.
- Download the tool above and unzip it. You will get a folder called "pd-kindle".
- Easiest way in: open Claude Code, hand it the downloaded file and say "install this skill into my Claude Code skills folder". It will do the techy bit for you.
- Prefer to do it yourself? Put the "pd-kindle" folder into the skills folder on your computer at ~/.claude/skills/
- Open Claude Code and say: "make me a Kindle version of As a Man Thinketh" (or any out-of-copyright book you like).
- It asks your name once, rewrites the whole book around you, and helps you get it onto your Kindle.
